MISSOURI--- Missouri state workers say they've cut total energy use by more than 20% in the last five years. A 2009 executive order targets cutting power usage by 2% a year through 2019. Workers have more than doubled that, saving 303 million kilowatt hours of electricity in five years. That's enough to power 4,400 homes for a year. There have also been substantial decreases in propane and natural gas usage.
