Miami Receives State-Of-The-Art Garbage Trucks

MIAMI, OK---What makes them so special is that they're automated. Meaning, there only has to be one person on the truck to control the trash pick up, rather than having 2 men ride in the back doing it manually.
Assistant Public Works Director Tyler Cline says with these new trucks you don't have to worry about injuries, plus, those employees can be used for different services.

He says, "This will allow us to keep operating the way we are right now, we've been supplementing with other people in public works to keep it going, so this will allow us to keep that and also we will be able to move some guys around if we need help in other areas."

Cline says they plan on using these two trucks to do all the residential routes.
