PITTSBURG, KS--- If it's Saint Patrick's Day, that means McCarthy's Pub is packed. For more than 30 years, people from around the Four States have been celebrating at this bar-- and this year is no different. The owner is expecting more than a thousand people to attend and partake in some food, fun, and drinks. There's dancing, arm wrestling, and a lot of people having a good time. The celebration started this morning and will last until 2am tonight. Owner of mccarthy's says everyone looks forward to this celebration every year.

"I think it brings a lot of people to the community. If you look around at all of the cars around here right now, a lot of them are from Oklahoma, Missouri, things like that. So we bring people in from everywhere," says Bryan Hanson, owner of McCarthy's.

Hanson says there will be plenty of taxis on hand. Also, the SEK-CAP shuttle is free and will be running until 2am tonight to make sure people get home safely.
