Late-night Fire Claims Old Neosho Church Building

NEOSHO, MO--- Four Missouri fire departments spend hours battling a fire in Neosho. At 9:35 last night, the fire departments of Neosho, Granby, Seneca, and Redings Mill responded to a structure fire at 429 Baxter Street in Neosho. The two-story structure is an old church building however it was not currently being used as a church.
According to Neosho fire officials, the building had two people living in it. It took crews four hours to extinguish the blaze, leaving the building a complete loss. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
