JOPLIN, MO.--- Tomorrow, Missouri Southern faculty will be teaching a chemistry refresher course at the library. Adults will learn about the history of chemistry along with the periodic table, then the magic happens. Chemistry professor Dr. Elliott Ennis will give demonstrations of chemistry in everyday life. For example, mixing Coke-a-Cola and milk together turns the milk sour.

"Science is just apart of our life we use everyday and every aspect, and we just kind of forget how important it can be," said Danya Walker, Joplin Library.

The program is geared towards adults, but kids who want to learn can come too. The free presentation will be held at the Joplin library and starts at 10 a.m.
