JOPLIN, MO.--- The Joplin Family Y is collecting school supplies. Representatives need crayons, pencils, paper and other essentials. The supplies will be used for projects kids will do throughout the year. Last year, 600 kids participated in programs at two Joplin YMCA's and the Heritage Youth Development Center in Webb City.

"We need crayons, construction paper, water colors, glitter. Just anything fun that kids like to play with and do crafts with," said Kim Gray, Development Director Joplin Family Y.

Supplies can be dropped off at both Joplin Y locations or the Heritage Youth Development Center in Webb City.
