JOPLIN, Mo. - A Joplin company announces the addition of 400 new jobs.
Alorica will nearly double the number of customer service jobs in its west 7th street operation, bringing the total to 820.
And they aren't wasting any time; a recruitment and hiring fair runs Thursday from 10:00 to 4:00 at the company's 1717 West 7th Street site.
The call taking company is the largest provider of customer service in the country.
Ken Muche is a spokesperson for Alorica; he said, "Here in Joplin, we support a variety of clients: healthcare, tech. And we help with back office functions, incoming phone calls, a variety of different ways."
The company is also redoubling its commitment to the military veterans project, raising funds to help prevent suicide among members of the military.
