Former Labette County Teacher Charged for Misconduct with a Student

LABETTE COUNTY, KS.---  A former Labette County teacher is charged for misconduct with a student. Ashley Spencer, 24, is charged with two counts of promoting obscenity. The Labette County Sheriff's Office received a report of alleged misconduct between a teacher and a student. That led authorities to investigate the relationship between Spencer and a 17-year-old male student. If convicted, Spencer could face up to two years in jail and fines up to $5,000.
