JOPLIN, MO.--- Today, volunteers washed and groomed 15 dogs from Joplin's Adoption and Animal Resource Center. The selected animals will be easily identified tonight while being walked up and down Main Street. They will be wearing rainbow colored bandana's to indicate that they are available for adoption. Volunteers feel washing dogs is the least they can do.

"Because they are stuck in cages 24/7 until someone gets them into a good home. Anything you can do to help them and improve their lives just at least a lit bit," said Kay Henderson, Volunteer.

If you are interested in adopting a pet or volunteering your time at the shelter, you can stop by their location on North Main Street in Joplin or give them a call at 417-623-3642.
