Crowder students take on projects that benefit environment

NEOSHO, Mo. - Ten Crowder College students in Neosho presented their school projects to the campus. Students created and designed their own wind turbines, solar hot water heaters and solar vehicles. This event is part of the Maret Center Student Showcase.

"I'm proud of what I built because there's no other design like it, because it's a custom-built design," explained student Jaron Youngblood. "And, we actually came up with it ourselves, rather than like trying to find a design online and copying it from someone else-- we built it ourselves. We decided to go abnormal."

Directors say the next student showcase will be held hopefully next spring.
