NEOSHO, MO.--- The Crowder College theatre is getting a facelift. Renovations for the new theatre began in December and are greatly making progress. Crowder is putting in new carpet, curtains, chairs, and painting the walls black. Money for the $180,000 renovation is coming from college funds. The theatre will be used for Crowder plays, meetings, and community events. Crowder College administrators feel it was in need of some updating.

"This building was built and opened in 1990, so it's been here awhile. So, it needed some renovation and some updating. So the new chairs are going to be great, it's a community room so people can use it," said Cindy Brown, Crowder College.

The theatre renovations will be completed by February 10th.
