SENECA, MO.--- A woman is accused of taking thousands of dollars from the Seneca PTO Board. Tabitha Lant is charged with stealing more than $25,000 from the organization. She was serving as treasurer for the PTO when the board president discovered there were insufficient funds in the organization's checking account.

After an investigation, it was determined by the prosecutor's office that Lant had allegedly spent the money, using the PTO debit card at Sam's Club, Kohl's, Wal-Mart, and numerous gas stations. The Newton County Sheriff's Office is currently waiting for Lant to turn herself in.
