PITTSBURG, KS.--- Pittsburg State University holds a workshop to teach kids the power of technology. This is the 11th year the college holds the "Adventures in Robotics" course.

8 kids from across the Four States are taking part in this week long program. Students learn how to build different robot prototypes and use basic engineering software. Professors say the workshop helps students in more ways than they think.

"We want to teach teamwork, working together to solve challenges because that's the business model and the way the world works. No one works by themselves anymore," said Randy Winzer, Engineering Professor.

A second robotics workshop will start Monday. Students can still sign up by contacting PSU's College of Technology.
