Miami Police Chief Resigns
MIAMI, OK.--- The Miami police chief resigns from his position. City Manager Jeff Bishop tells us George Haralson verbally stated he would leave the department at the end of this month. Haralson plans to take another job in a different city but is not disclosing the details. He was named chief of the Miami Police Department in March of 2011. Bishop says he will wait until Haralson leaves to name a new chief.
