GROVE, Okla. - Court Appointed Special Advocates or CASA of Northeast Oklahoma is hosting its first "CASA Super Hero 5k and Children's Festival."
Funds raised will help volunteers and clients. The agency helps abused or neglected children find a better and permanent home.
The 5k will be Saturday, March 25th from 8 a.m. until noon. It'll be located at the Jeanette Lee Community Center at 104 West Third in Grove.
"I think its going to be great," explained CANO Executive Director Angela Henderson. "I can't wait to see everybody there all dressed up. And, we want everyone to have a good time-- that's the whole goal of it. If it's not any fun then it's not worth doing."
The event will also feature a bouncy house, breakfast, and carnival games. To register and for more information, click here.
