Carthage Man Honors Grandson Through Donation to a New Early Childhood Center

CARTHAGE, MO.--- A Carthage man honors his grandson through a donation to the Carthage R-9 School District's new early childhood center. Felix Wright donated $100,000 to the Carthage R-9 School Foundation to acquire naming rights for the special education portion of the district's new facility. It will be called the "W.B. Wright Early Childhood Special Services Center." The center will offer expanded services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, as well as targeted instruction for students with special needs. Ruth I. Kolpin Rubison also acquired naming rights for another portion of the building.
