Burglars Arrested in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, KS--- Pittsburg Police arrest two burglars this week. Thursday, around 10:30 pm, officers responded to the area of 14th and Broadway for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived and found a silver Ford Taurus parked behind Pitt Realty at 1401 North Broadway. They also found a partially open garage door and began to search the building. Two individuals were located inside. 43-year-old Tori Shalene Messer of Pittsburg, and 41-year-old Clifton Jay Broyles of Chetopa were arrested for burglary and are now being held at the Crawford County Jail. Officers are still investigating the crime.
