Joplin, MO- The sound of Christmas is in the air with Salvation Army bell ringers posted in front of area businesses.
For the past six years Jeremy Warner has been ringing for the Salvation Army.
He often rings at the Hobby Lobby in Joplin and is one of their top earners.
This year the Joplin Salvation Army has set a goal of $200,000 from the red kettles.
Last year the goal was $150,000 and they just barely missed it's goal.
Organizers say the money helps the less fortunate in our area.
