JOPLIN, MO.--- More than a hundred science students had a chance to show off their hard work at an annual science fair. Missouri Southern State University hosted it's 35th annual Science Fair. Some of the experiments showed off included one that is trying to create a super bug that will kill all germs. Another tried to see if DVD's gain weight with the more data you put on them. The students say the science fair tests them in good ways.

"My first science fair was the typical volcano, and generally over time, my project have matured and allowed me to deliver more research and improve myself," said Bryant Heckart, 18 Years Old.

The winner of this science fair will progress to the international competition, that will be held in Los Angeles in May.
