SENECA, MO.--- Two local musicians are now going in to the hall of fame. Rich McCready and his father, Doc, have been inducted into the Missouri Music Hall of Fame in St. Joseph. The father and son are from Seneca and have been performing music for years. Doc was inducted in to the producer category. Rich was inducted in the singer/songwriter category and is also the youngest member of the hall of fame. Both men say it's an honor.

"Accomplishment of passion. Music was my passion, I love all kinds of music," said Doc McCready, Missouri Music Hall of Fame.

"I enjoy what I do with that. Hall of fame is just a great honor, especially being in it with dad," said Rich McCready, Missouri Music Hall of Fame.

Other Missourians in the hall of fame include Sheryl Crow and Chuck Berry.
