GOLDEN CITY, MO--- A veteran trying to raise a million dollars for wounded veterans, makes a stop in our area.

Rob Jones has a big welcome as he rides pass the Golden City Schools. He's a double amputee, that is traveling across the country to raise money for three veteran charities. Rob lost both of his legs back in 2010 while in Afghanistan.

"Therapy, it kind of popped in my head while I was trying to re-learn how to ride a bike, ride across America," says Jones.

Rob is expected to be in San Diego by April. If you would like to track Rob's journey across the country and donate to his cause click here.
