FORT SCOTT, KS.--- The Freedom Frontier National Heritage Area is hosting a week long camp. The students visited the Bushwacker Museum in Nevada. They had a chance to learn about the border war between Kansas and Missouri. They also saw artifacts and learned about Native American history in the area.

"You get to learn what they did, what guns they shot. What they'd done back then and a lot of places they went to battle and stuff," said Chandler Lawrence, 11-years-old.

The next stop on the week long trip is the Prarie State Park in Mindenmines.
