Pittsburg State University hosted a seminar for area teachers called "the Economics of Chocolate."
Kenny McDougle taught the class showing how you can incorporate chocolate into a lesson plan and teach several different concepts.
Those include, supply and demand of chocolate, trading with other countries for ingredients and also mathematics to calculate profits.
Getting students' attention is half the battle, and chocolate helps with that task. The class will conclude on Thursday.
