CARTHAGE, MO.--- A Carthage artist is sprucing up men's ties. Rachel Wilson has recently started creating bow ties made of duck and turkey feathers. She has made more than 10 of them and they're on display at Cherry's Art Gallery on the Carthage square. Rachel's husband is a hunter and she's putting all those bird feathers to good use.

"I just have this thing for taking some things that other people would see as trash or not useful, and repurposing them for something pretty," said Rachel Wilson, Artist.

The bow ties take several hours to make.
