CARL JUNCTION, MO.--- An area post office is raising money for breast cancer research. Sharon Clark is the postmaster of the Carl Junction Post Office. For the past five years she has been selling the Breast Cancer Research Stamp. A portion of every stamp sold will go to cancer research. Last year, she raised more than $24,000. Carl Junction was the third in the nation for selling the most stamps. Clark says almost everyone knows someone affected by breast cancer.

"Can't imagine someone not personally been touched by breast cancer. One out of every eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer and the numbers just go up everyday. Cancer knows no age," said Sharon Clark, Breast Cancer Survivor.

The stamps will be on sale at the Carl Junction Post Office for the month of October.
