JOPLIN, MO.--- A search and rescue dog is now searching for a best seller. Lily the Weimaraner has a new children's book that's been published about her. A St. Louis author heard of Lily's story from the May 2011 tornado. The book tells the story of Lilly's journey along with her handler Tara Prosser, searching for survivors in debris after the tornado. The book has impressed Tara, but Lily will take a bit more convincing.

"I've shown it to her, she sniffed it and licked it and moved on. Wasn't that interested," said Tara Prosser, Lily's Owner.

If you would like to purchase the book, it's available at Changing Hands Bookstore in Joplin and Blue Moon Market on Main Street in Joplin.
