Brad's Beat: The Way We Worked Exhibit

FRANKLIN, KS.--- A bit of national history from the Smithsonian Institute is being transported across the county to a small Kansas museum. The Miners Hall Museum in Franklin, Kansas will host a Smithsonian exhibit for a little over a month.

The exhibit is titled "The Way We Worked." It examines the different professions people have had over the last 150 years. Franklin beat out dozens of other towns in Kansas to host the display.

"It's great to see a big name like Smithsonian in smaller venues that normally wouldn't get an exhibit," said David Kareider, Driver.

The exhibit will open this Saturday at 10 a.m. If you'd like to visit the museum, it's located at 701 S. Broadway in Franklin, Kansas. It will be on display until June 23rd and it's free to the public.
