JOPLIN, MO.--- There are several aspiring artists that are going to Clay Camp this week. The Phoenix Fire Art Group in Joplin hosted the camp. Kids were able to learn about how to mold and shape clay into pottery.

The camp opens the kids to art and how they can turn nothing into something. The kids say more kids should join because staying at home is boring.

"Artwork is cool. Instead of watching TV all day, you could be artistic and have fun with it," said Blakeley Bagley, 8 years old.

If you would like to sign up for the class, you can call 417-437-9281.
