The third annual "bark in the part" was hosted by Southeast Kansas Humane Society at Lincoln Park. The event featured dog related activities ranging from obstacle courses and talent contest. Program Director Erica Wilson says the humane society is dedicated towards finding homes for homeless animals and seeing that people care enough to come to this event shows how that animals become a part of your family.
"We want to promote that connection, the bond in the relationship between the family and the dog. To kinda help get more people to adopt and have more activities. You know, for the dog." said Erica Wilson SEK Humane Society Director.
Wilson says all of the money goes towards the humane society and is hoping to raise $2,000 dollars.
