MSSU FallsTo UCM In Second Round of NCAA Tournament

Head Coach Robert Corn ends his 25 tenure at Southern with a 94-84 loss to Central Missouri.
MANKATO, MN. --

It's an end to an era for Southern, as Head Coach Robert Corn wrapped up the 2013-14 season 23-6.
At one point, the Lions were trailing by 21 points but managed to battle back in the middle of the second half to get it to within 5. Their efforts proved to be too little, too late, as the Mules would finish with a 10-point spread.
Senior Marquis Addison led the Lions with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. He ends his career 5th on the all-time points list with 1,667 points.
Senior Jordan Talbert finished with a double-double, 16 points and 11 rebounds. His career was just as decorated as Addison's, breaking into the 1,000 point club this year.
Robert Corn led the Lions to 21 MIAA appearances, 16 straight, 4 NCAA Tournaments, including one Elite 8. He is the winningest head coach for Southern (413), and was named MIAA Coach of the year 4 times.
