Missouri Southern Wins MIAA Tournament Championship

The MSSU men won their third MIAA Tournament Championship in school history on Sunday, defeating Central Oklahoma 84-72.
The Missouri Southern men battled back from a halftime deficit for the third day in a row to win the MIAA Tournament Championship 84-72 over Central Oklahoma.  Marquis Addison led the Lions with 21 points and was named to the All-Tournament Team while Slim Magee was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. The Lions are the three seed in the Central Region of the NCAA Division II tournament, they'll face the six seed Fort Hays State in Mankato, Minnesota on Saturday.  Missouri Southern faced Fort Hays in January, losing 76-67 in Joplin.
