Another year, another playoff at Ozark Amateur

For the second year in a row, the Ozark Amateur would come down to a playoff.
JOPLIN, MO. --

The Ozark Amateur likes it's dramatic finishes. For the second year in a row, the tournament came down to two. Shooting four under in round two, Chad Walker climbed his way up the leaderboard to face Fayetteville resident Icem Brewer, who shot two under today.
The pair moved to the par five 1st to declare a winner. Using his driver for most of the day, Brewer set himself up nicely at the bend of the nearly 500 yard hole, giving him a straight-away for his second shot. Walker landed about 50 yards back from Brewer, forcing him to go through the trees to catch up.
Brewer's second shot was a good, but his chip shot was even better. He would only need to tap in a one-foot shot to get the win. Walker's last chance was a long distance putt around 40 feet out. He came up short and Brewer sealed the deal for his first Ozark Amateur victory.
