Joplin, Missouri - Dr. Eldon Repsher graduated from the University of Missouri School of Optometry, St. Louis, MO in 2000. He received his certification in the treatment and management of ocular disease in December 1999. Dr. Repsher received his Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Molecular Biology from Southwest Missouri State University in 1996. He practices all aspects of primary optometric care, including contact lenses, treatment of eye diseases and infections, and co-manages pre and post operative care for LASIK and cataract surgery. Dr. Eldon Repsher is a current member of the Missouri Optometric Association, past secretary of the Southwest Missouri Optometric Society, and member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Repsher is a member of the Joplin Chamber of Commerce and the Carl Junction Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Repsher served six years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, stationed at Naval Hospital San Diego and aboard the destroyer USS Caron (DD970). Dr. Repsher was a member of Surgical Team 1, based out of San Diego and spent 8 months in the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm/Shield. Dr. Repsher grew up in Washington State and has lived in southwest Missouri for the past 22 years. Dr. Repsher is very active with the Carl Junction schools where three children attend. Dr. Repsher spends most of his time doing family activities and scuba diving.
